What are my options for an extended car warranty?
I'm looking for suggestions for reputable third-party auto warranties available for car owners.
The car I started leasing in early May 2008 has 33,000 miles on it. I'm way over on miles, and am expecting I will have to buy it. Buying it won't be an issue because I love the car, but it's going to be out of the manufacturer's bumper-to-bumper warranty in a few months or so. I don't like the feeling of having to worry about a major repair wreaking havoc when I least need any trouble.

I got tricked into buying an auto warranty that i don't need.?
Well its not me its my sister she recently bought a used car and was only approved if she bought a certain warranty that would last for 30,000 additional miles and the warranty costs her about an additional 50 dollars a month for the entire loan. The dealer told her that if she didn't have to use the warranty, which she probably won't, then she'll get a refund of what she's paid. So does that mean she gets back the extra 50 dollars for the entire 60 months that she's paying on the car? Also she is planning on paying the car off early, so when it comes time to collect the refund, should she contact the bank or the dealership? Thanks for all answers.

used car contracts and auto warranty?
I bought a car from a used auto lot. Its one of those places that i had to do since i have bad credit. well i saw the window sticker info that said that it has warranty for 2 years or 24000 miles. Well needless to say during the process of signing the contract the rep crossed it our with a pen and put 90 days or 3000 miles. After reading my contract that I signed it says that anything on the window sticker is part of the contract and nothing negotiated during the signing will be held up. does this mean that I can show this to the car dealership and possibly get the warranty back for the 2 years or 24000 miles?
