Bumper To Bumper Warranty
What Types Of Auto Warranties Are Available
When you are going to buy a car there are a lot of things that you have to consider and look at for each car you want. You need to know the price, how old the car is and so on. One really important thing that you want to make sure that you look at is the auto warranty that comes with the car. Not every car will have the same auto warranty so you need to look at the warranty for each individual car.
Some of the auto warranties will cover all of the non-wear issues for only three years or 36, 000 miles. Then other warranties will cover repairs up to 10 years or 100, 000 miles. The strength of the coverage that comes with the auto warranty will help you decide whether you need to purchase an extended auto warranty.
There are differences in a new car warranty and an extended auto warranty that you need to be aware of. The new car warranty is based on two parts: the bumper to bumper warranty, this will cover anything except the wear and tear of parts such as the brakes and tires; and the power train warranty, this will cover all of the parts that make the car run such as the transmission and the engine.
With the Bumper To Bumper Warranty there are very few extended warranties that will cover everything. You want to make sure that you take the time to read the auto warranty contract and learn what is covered and what is not.
For wear and tear there are many extended auto warranties that will cover parts that stop working, just like they cover the ones that are worn out. You have to read the contract to find out what the differences are and how they may affect what you end up paying.
You can purchase an extended auto warranty to keep the coverage of the Bumper To Bumper Warranty going. Sometimes the warranty that is sold at dealerships will be called a factory warranty. You also need to be aware of third party warranties that can save money but are a lot less convenient to use. These types of warranties will require out of pocket money for any repairs and then you will be reimbursed for them later. You want to make sure that you think about all of these things and find out all you can about each different auto warranty so that you can make the right decision on the best one for your car.
It is important that you look carefully at the auto warranty before you purchase anything. This way you will not end up with future problems. So take the time to learn what you need to about all of the different warranties that are available before you start shopping for a car.

4 months ago I bought a used car through Toyota Dealer with Clean Carfax but found out now an accident..?
I got involved in a minor accident that needs paintwork. The body shop then reported a previous accident and would like my insurance company to extend the approved hours. I am afraid the insurance premium will go up if the claim amount is higher.
I also purchased bumper to bumper warranty at the time I bought the car and brought the car to another dealer for inspection right after the purchase. Who should pay for the covered up accident?
Hi Whocares and Alfredb 1979, I had the choice of returning the car in 3 days of purchasing. The dealer also told me there was no accident at the time of purchasing. If you can't help me please don't add insult to the injury.
Hi xx_satanic_mechanic_xx, Was it because of my broken English, everyone here wants me to pay? But for those MBAs and CEOs with perfect English working in Wall street, they can cheat the whole country and you guys are OK?
Hi xx_satanic_mechanic_xx,
OK I am not a car expert. When they told me there was no accident, I just believed them. I took the car to another dealer and again I believed them. But I am hearing from you that if people succeed in lying to me, then it's my own responsibility. (Are you saying majority of this country are responsible for the financial fraud?) No I am not diverting. I am sorry if you can't see the similarity of the moral of these two stories. Or maybe it's a double standard thing for different people.
Oh yes, I should have used the word "hidden" rather than "covered up." That way, maybe I won't get discriminated.

is rubbing compound and polishing compound the same thing?
does it ruin the glossy finish so that i'd always have to wax it to make the car look nice? I have a blemish on my new mazda 3 . It looks like a rock hit it on the road and I think I see black underneath. The car is silver. I bought polishing compound in walmart and thebottle sayd it's for light to medium scratches. Is this what I need to be using or should I bring it to the dealer? Is paint covered in the bumper to bumper warranty?

Will my Catalytic Converter be covered under warranty?
I have a 07 Nissan Altima that I bought Certified Pre-Owned, and also bought the gold preferred bumper to bumper warranty. I have been noticing an exhaust smell recently so I had a friend look at it who is a mechanic. He told me it was the catalytic converter, I want it fixed but am not sur if it is covered under one of the warranties. I read online if your car has less than 80,000 miles it should be covered. I have about 73,000. Any insight would be helpful. I called nissan and scheduled an appointment to get it fixed, and asked if it would be covered, but they haven't gotten back to me yet.
No the check engine light is not on, but what else could it be and why would my friend tell me that was the problem? He said to get it fixed by Nissan because it is uncommon for that to go on such a new car.
