is it legal for a car dealer to install a gps in a customer's car with out their knowledge?
The car lot called 2 weeks after the car was financed and asked me to bring the car in because they wanted to detail it for me. 1 month later the car lot calls and says there is a recall on the warranty and i needed to bring it in. ok? 1 DAY later my car dies on me...completely. I call the car lot and my own mechanic. Come to find out...the first time i went in, they were actually installing a gps in my car and the second time i went in was because the gps lost signal and they had to hook it back up. Neither time saying anything about a gps. When they hooked it back up, he did it wrong and the power wire going to gps was grounding out against the radio shell. It had blown a fuse. But my question is, is it legal for them to install the gps in my car without my knowledge AFTER i had the car financed.

Car dealer shady, can gf sue?
My gf just bought an '08 Suzuki Forenza and the dealer had a clean CarFax and she test drove the thing w/out noticing very much wrong w/it. When she got it home she took it to the local Suzuki dealer and they said all kinds of things were not right with it, front end, rear struts leaking, leaky head gasket, etc. She did get a warranty w/the car and full coverage ins. - can she go back and deal with them over misrepresentation of the vehicle to begin with? Is this lawsuit material, or just get it fixed through the warranty and live with it. She feels likes she's been screwed over . . .
But they are still beholden to the warranty clause to fix what they said was
not wrong w/it in the first place, am I right in that assumption?
