Should I get a credit card?
Ok. So I have to get my car repaired, and I cannot wait and save the money. I'm thinking of applying for the Capitol One No Hassle Rewards card. I'm planing on fixing the car in stages to keep the total amount due on the card down but I most likely will have a balance most months. I also plan to use the card as a debt card of sorts for my monthly expenses which I will pay off bi-weekly. Mostly because I commute a long distance to work and they have fairly decent gas rewards. I hope to pay off the car repairs within a year at the most. According to the credit report company I am using I have a poor to fair credit score and I have a fair chance at being approved for this card. Is it a good idea for me to apply for this card? It didn't occur to me at first to add that this will be my first and only card. I really don't have another option as to the transportation thing, which is why I am leaning toward getting a credit card. Which is something I never wanted to do. I've been very good with paying my college loans, but having a balance on them is what is dragging my credit score down. The car itself really isn't in that bad of shape. All told the repairs will cost around $3,000. I know I won't get a very large credit limit at first which is why I think the car repairs will take at most a year to pay off.

Do i have to worry about car repairs in the near future?
I have a 1994 dodge spirit (yes i know its old) 3.0V6. This car is suppose to be noted for being very reliable and has 280k on it right now. Recently i have done all this because i couldn't afford a new car: 1)Alternator + Belt 2)oil + tranny fluid changes 3)muffer+new exhaust pipes 4)lower ball joints in front 5)breaks rear and front + rotors 6)Water pump + hoses + timing belt 7)completely new rear end - How many more things can go wrong? im so tired of car repairs, i want a newish car but my family won't let me get one, they insist on paying for my repairs but i really dont think its worth it, its a dodge so you gotta know its a piece.

What to do when a car repair shop do unauthorized repairs to your car and will not release it?
I have been with out my car for more than 2.5 months the repair shop keep doing a miss and miss, cause to call it a hit and miss would be lying. To this day the car is not running. Now to release my car it will cost me over $600 for repairs I didn't tell them to make on my car. Since I have a new car I really don't care if it sits there for a lifetime, but can they sale my car parts without having title to the car? And I am responsible for the repair cost that I didn't authorized them to do?
