I just bought a '03 Lexus SC430 & '03 Mer BZ CL500. Should I get an extended car warranty & if so, which one?
I didn't purchase an extended car warranty on these vehicles because it was too expensive ($2900 for $35k miles or 3 years) and I felt the dealer was trying to 'get' me. However, the dealer said I could always come back and purchase it. They use the Easy Care extended warranty company. Should I purchase their warranty, another warranty, or no warranty at all for my two new vehicles?

how (& to who) can i make a complaint against the GM company?
Ive been have an issue with my vehicle & a GM authorized dealer has been working on it. I had originally purchased an easy care extended warranty to cover the parts on said vehicle. The dealership put in a part that was not authorized by my warranty company which, of course, voided my warranty on that particular part. i contacted GM about this issue & was told by a GM employee that i cant prove this, when i informed the lady that i did have the proof & would be more than willing to give it to her she told me even if i did have proof they are not responsible for the dealerships & what they do. i think that sounds ridiculous, thats basically telling me that a dealership can do whatever they want & they have no one to answer to. everyone has someone to answer to therefore i refuse to accept that answer. the car is broken down right now & has been since december because of the part that the dealership replaced. if anyone has any suggestions, they would be much appreciated. thanks so much. so i come into a dealership WITH a warranty that i purchased from the dealership at the same time as the car & they can just say who cares? we're just going to do what we want to do with this car. this isnt some us fidelis scam i saw on a commercial.. this is an actual warranty sold by a dealership.
