However, sooner or later, Uggs need to be cleaned in either certain areas or overall. A quality stain eraser can be used to reduce any stains prior to cleaning.
Even though Uggs should not be worn through wet conditions, a little water can be used to cleanse them. To clean Ugg-Australian boots by hand, first dampen the boot or specific boot area with a soft sponge, brush, or cloth. The best product to use for the actual cleaning is Ugg Australia Sheepskin Cleaner and Conditioner, which contains natural jojoba and coconut oils. This is known to be safe when used on Uggs. Otherwise, the owner takes a chance with cleaners that may be good for wool or suede, but not necessarily beneficial for sheepskin. If this process does not remove a particular mark, it may be caused by high oil content in the stain. Such stains may be lessened by the application of white chalk or a fine powder and then rubbed again.
Rinse the cleaner off with a little clean water. If the entire boot has been treated, any excess wetness may be squeezed out. Ugg boots should never be stretched to remove water. To retain their proper shape while drying, Ugg Shoes-Australia footwear should be stuffed with paper towels or newspaper. They should then be allowed to air-dry naturally in a warm area, but not in the path of direct heating or sunlight. After they are completely dry, the Uggs (or the places that have been cleaned) should be re-brushed, again in just one direction. Shaking a little baking soda or shoe deodorizer into the boots will eliminate past foot odor and prevent against future smells. The size of the Ugg boot may appear to shrink slightly after drying, but will regain its original fit after being worn a few times.
It's also worthwhile to remember that, with darker colored Uggs, some dye may lift off during the first few wearings and washings. This is just excess coloring and does not mean that the boots will continue to fade or lose all color. (Plus, like all natural fabrics, it's normal for sheepskin to contain irregularities in color and variations in textures, and does not indicate defects in manufacturing.) Finally, storing Uggs in a dry place between wearings will allow them to air out so that they are fresh for the next wearing.

Computer Warranty Sharp Practice?
I bought a computer from Comet in the UK at the start of April 2011. Now 5:23:11 some of the white letters have already worn off the keyboard. The usage has been normal, nothing has spilled on it.
The manufacturer (Acer) refuse to replace the keyboard calling it 'a consumable item'.
The warranty insurers (Easy Care) bought from Comet, say they will replace the keyboard but that will cancel their entire 140 UK Pound warranty. Whilst this covers them under the UK Sale of Goods Act (product must be fit for purpose) I say less than 8 weeks life for a keyboard used by one person is a joke). So I am left having no practical option but to buy another keyboard.
Apart from never buying anything from Comet ever again, or their Easy Care warranty, what would you do?
The person I was talking with about Easy Care said they would 'write off' the keyboard and with it the warranty for the rest of the computer. This has annoyed me even more than the impersonal and presumably foreign call centre. For both of them the customer is clearly nothing more than a darned nusiance. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Comet disappear from retail parks soon with that kind of attitude.
