I like to find a niche that gets around 100, 000 searches a month, and that's combined with all the search engines and all the different words that might be in that niche. So there may be a 100 different words that only average a 1000 searches a month, but it gets me my 100, 000.

I've got one website in a niche that only gets 3000 searches a month, but somehow I get 5 or 6 hundred hits to that website every single month, just through the search engines. So it can be done, obviously you don't make a whole lot of money on websites that only get you 5 or 6 hundred hits per month.

There's a theory out there that says, well if you have a hundred websites or whatever that get you that kind of traffic, then each one of those websites makes you so much a month that it adds up. So I think that's a fine theory, I don't want to manage a 100 websites, so really what I've done is I ve kind of gravitated away from some of the niches where I only get 5 or 6 hundred searches a month, and I've really gotten to where I can drive some really massive 30, 40 thousand searches a month to my main website. And that's kind of where I gravitate to. I would rather have one or two web sites, and just do a really good job of driving traffic to them, rather than have a hundred web sites, and have to manage all of them.
