Yes, this is posted under Hyundai even though it's a Kia because THERE IS NO KIA SECTION. My 2006.5 Kia Optima is the same as the 2006 Hyundai Sonata. It's 3yrs old with 34k miles. Does the remainder of the warranty still apply even though I bought it used? Some people are telling me no, the warranty only covers the first owner, and others are saying yes it still applies. What do you know to be the truth? I ask because the TPMS light is on. The owners manual states it only comes on if there is a malfunction. Also, there is a loud squeaking noise coming from the rear and it's not the shocks. Thanks!
LT, there are 2 warning lights for the tire pressure monitor system. One light comes on for low tire pressure (picture of a tire) and the other light says "TPMS" which only comes on when a malfunction is detected, according to the owners manual. This is the light that is on all the time, not the tire picture light. All tires have full pressure and the light stays on.
