Mercedes Benz ML350 BlueTEC Automotive Review
It looks like the beginning of the end of an era. Ginormous was the magic word when it came to purchasing vehicles since around 1990 and onward. Bigger somehow seemed to equal better. Everyone wanted to acquire "Rock Star" status and flaunt their success via what they were driving. It was a must to have a Navigator, Excursion, Expedition, Hummer or something similar. Due to the financial difficulties throughout the nation, many people have had to park their "land yachts" with the constant rise and fluctuation of gas prices.
Many premium automakers have been taking steps to reduce fuel consumption and emissions in their SUV's, both large and small. Manufacturers like Lexus and Cadillac have developed hybrid initiatives to save fuel. Only BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz have been in the forefront of diesel technology, which allows even the most gas guzzling SUV to use less fuel than a regular sedan. This technology along major features like safety, comfort, utility and versatility are available in the 2010 Mercedes Benz ML350 BlueTEC. In the time of a disappearing ozone layer, consumers can rest easy knowing this vehicle offers technological advancements that save fuel and reduce emissions. Unless someone was to say so, it is virtually undetectable as a diesel powered vehicle. In regards to passengers and space, there is plenty of rear seating room. The Mercedes Benz ML350 BlueTEC has a total of 72 cubic feet of cargo room. The Premium Package was well equipped consisting of 10-way power adjustable seats with a power steering column, a Command hard drive-based navigation, Linguatronic voice control, a DVD changer, a 4 GB music register and SD memory slot. It has very comfortable Parktronic, heated seats (front and rear), power tailgate and power folding mirrors. The 19-inch five-spoke wheels come standard; 20-inchers are available as a standalone option. Additional items include an Airmatic air suspension system, polished side step bars, a rear roof spoiler, an iPod integration kit and a rearview camera. The ML350 BlueTEC's comes with the Mercedes Benz 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and stability control. Of course the interior fit and finish is high quality. Materials are of decent quality, but controls take some time to get accustomed to. The Mercedes Benz ML350 BlueTEC starts at $49, 700, only $1, 500 more than the gasoline ML350 4MATIC. This stunning vehicle can be purchased at any of your local Mercedes Benz dealerships. See www.mbusa.com for more details. By P. Rick Black - Based in California, the South Carolina native, P.
