Malaysia's Used Toyota Market
Malaysia's used car market is pretty flexible in the sense that there are many used car dealers around. From the expensive models like secondhand BMWs to cheaper ones like the Perodua and Proton makes, there is definitely a wealth of choices if you are looking for a used car. Like other manufacturers, Toyota has a concrete used car market in Malaysia. Many people look for Toyota cars because they know that Toyotas are reliable and safe on the road.
In Malaysia, the best place to get information about used Toyota cars would be from the Internet. If you are not too sure where to start searching, you can always type in certain keywords in any search engine and browse through the results that appear on the screen. Personally, I would say that online car classifieds websites would be the best place to get the most details about your enquiry. These websites cater to people who are seriously looking into buying either new or used cars. As such, you would be able to get the answers to most of the general questions that you have. Further than that, you can probably shoot an e-mail to their customer service representative and receive a reply within hours.
Here is how online car classifieds work. You basically browse through the selection that is available in the website. Lucky for you, there are bound to be many Toyota cars up for sale in the market due to its popularity. So all you have to do is browse through and look for a model and make that you are interested in. There would also be a list of information that you would need about the Toyota car. For example, the year it was manufactured, mileage and more importantly, its starting price.
After browsing through the selection of Toyota cars online, it is obvious that the Toyota Vios is the most popular model. The reason is probably that it has a good resale value even after a few years of being on the road. Additionally, the Toyota Vios has a very good and elegant design that attracts a huge following among Malaysians. If you are on the lookout for a Toyota Vios, you are definitely spoilt for choices as there are so many in the used car market. It just depends on how much you are willing to pay for it.
A second hand Toyota is not very hard to maintain, especially if its previous owner had been keeping it in tip top condition all the years. It is not that expensive either as the wear and tear on this car is not as bad as on other car models. In Malaysia, you can find a garage selling genuine Toyota spare parts practically anywhere so you really don't have to worry about maintaining your used Toyota.
Finance Question I can't answer?
I have a financial calculator, the BA 2 plus , Does anyone know how to solve these problems using it? Because I can't figure out how to use this calculator!
1. First USA Bank offers to lend you $10,000 at an APR of 6%, with interest paid monthly. Bank of Delaware offers to lend you the $10,000, but it will charge 7% APR, with interest paid at the end of the year. What are the effective annual rates (EAR) charged by the two banks? (10)
2. After graduation, you plan to work for 10 years and then visit Bahamas. You expect to save $1,000 a year for the first 5 years and $2,000 annually for the next 5 years. These savings cash flows will start in one year. In addition, your family has just given you a $5,000 graduation gift. If your gift and all future contributions are put into an account that pays 8% compounded annually, what will your financial ?stake? be when you leave for Bahamas 10 years from now? (10)
3. Crissie just won the CT Lottery, and she must choose between three award options. (i) Receive a lump sum today of $61 million, (ii) receive 10 end-of-year payments of $9.5 million, or (iii) 30 end-of-year payments of $5.5 million. If she thinks she can earn 7% annually, which option should she choose? (10)
4. You have saved $4000 for a down payment on a new car. The largest monthly payment that you can afford is $350. The loan would have a 12% APR based on end- of-the-month payments. What is the most expensive car you can afford if you finance it for 48 months? For 60 months? (10)
5. A rookie quarterback is negotiating his first NFL contract. His discount rate is 10%. He has been offered three possible 4-year contracts. Payments are guaranteed and they would be made in advance. Terms are as listed below:
.
Team 1 2 3 4
Contract 1 3,000,000 3,000,000 3,000,000 3,000,000
Contract 2 2,000,000 3,000,000 4,000,000 5,000,000
Contract 3 7,000,000 1,000,000 1,000,000 1,000,000
As his agent, what would you recommend?

Does this woman seem like bad news?
Ok, I already have bad feelings about this but I was wondering what other people thought.
I've been talking to this 23 year old single mother on a dating site. She asked "what are you looking for" and I said "maybe friends first then see where it goes" she said "I want to settle down and get married"
She's decent looking and texts me everyday things like 'hi sweety' and "ur so sexi" Her son is 20 months old, she has no car and no job. She told me that if we hang out or go on a date, her kid would have to come with us. Shes seperated from a soldier stationed in Georgia and now she lives in his families house in Utah. She even admitted to me she cheated on him with another military guy and that she's attracted to military guys (probably not for their uniform, but for the $$$)
A bit about myself. I'm 20 yrs old in the military. Have my own new car, lots of cash in the bank, etc. I'm 99% sure this woman is looking for a free ride through a servicemember such as myself. she knows how the system works so if I screwed her and an accident happened her stance on abortion is clear... she won't have one (as evident by her kid) and she'll milk me every month for 18 years for child support. I feel she wants to hopefully get married to some sucker who will take the bait so she can have a bill payer, pop out babies and be taken care of by the military. (free housing and medical for her and dependants)
So I guess what I'm really asking is how should I stop talking to this chick. Just ignore her txts/calls? Or just tell her I'm not interested anymore?
