Vehicle Warranty, Not An Incentive
When you buy a new vehicle, keep in mind that warranty is not some sort of additional benefit that is offered to you as an incentive to get you buy the vehicle, warranty is something you pay for.
Car manufacturers know that something may go wrong for the first few years with the vehicle that they manufactured that's why they already factored the cost of warranty into the cost of the vehicle. The manufacturer paid the dealer less than the dealer normally charges to a customer for every warranty work that the dealer does. That's why the dealer doesn't offer much incentive to do the warranty work. So the best dealer to do the warranty work for you is the one that sold you the vehicle. In principle, you are entitled to bring your vehicle at any dealerships that sell the same brand of vehicle like yours. The following information can be useful with your vehicle warranty: Have a copy of warranty repair order of the dealer, sometimes vehicle problem are not corrected the first time it was repaired that's why this document is very important because you can show it to the dealer if you have encounter the same problem in the future. Have your vehicle check by the independent garage mechanic within the warranty period; document every problem that is present in the vehicle and bring this document and the vehicle to the dealer for repair. Why there is a need of independent garage checking? , Because, when your vehicle is check by the dealer there is a possibility that the dealer may overlooked your vehicle problem and sometimes not truthful with the real problem to avoid doing the warranty work. If you encounter a "run around" with your dealer, make a complain to the manufacturer's customer service department, tell them your unsatisfactory experience with the dealer and demand to resolve your complaint, after all, customer is always right. To avoid future problem with the dealer regarding your vehicle warranty, from the start, it would be better to buy from a dealer that has a good record for doing warranty works. How do you know if the dealer is doing good warranty works? First, ask some friends who have purchased from the dealer you are considering buying your vehicle, second, checking the manufacturer's dealer operation department for the dealer with high CSI rating, by doing so, you can be sure that you are buying to a dealer with good reputation in doing warranty works.. Remember that it is better to have your vehicle check always before the warranty period lapses. Best new car warranties out there?
Considering buying a new vehicle but my number one concern is to make sure that I get the best overall new vehicle warranty, regardless of make or model. I would like to have a car that doesn't have "real" repair bills before it is paid for. Any advice?

Difference between "Limited New Vehicle Warranty" and "Powertrain Warranty" for volkswagon Jetta
