Holiday Pay for Employees of Federal Government Contractors?
I am employed by a company that has a service contract with a US government agency.
I do understand that in the private sector in general, to offer or not to offer holiday pay is completely up to the employer; is not mandated by law.
But what about employment under a government contract?
Is the McNamara-O'hara Service Contract Act applicable here?
Can you point me to any authoritative resources one way or the other?

Can a consumer cancel a service ontract on a used car (as is) and if so what is the time frame? 48 hours? Or?
I bought a car 1/8/10, and i want the service contract removed? I called the GM and he said that this could not be done. I think he is lying because whether it be service contract /insurance or an extended warranty there should be a cancellation clause. And i have not recieved anything. I asked him to send me docs for no right to cancel and he sent me his statement of you can't cancel this contract because it is not an extended warranty. And i asked him again , Can i cancel this ? He paused and said no. Help . Can this be true ? I read that i bought something called , " INSURANCE
(215 ILCS 152/) Service Contract Act." Also , this act also states that : "(215 ILCS 152/35) Sec. 35. Cancellation and refunds. No service contract may be issued, sold, or offered for sale in this State unless the service contract clearly states that the service contract holder is allowed to cancel the service contract. If the service contract holder elects cancellation, the service contract provider may retain a cancellation fee not to exceed the lesser of 10% of the service contract price or $50. The service contract cancellation provision must provide that the service contract may be cancelled"
